ladies, im tired of this.
1)irregular periods..right now they run 3 days of bleeding, then 3-4 days later ill gush a few times throughout the day...but once in awhile ill gush 2 days after or even 7 days after
2) upset stomach... this one has me befuddled. dr gave me meds, that work occassionally. now i know for the most part what is making my stomach upset, so you would think that would be an easy fix..but its not. mainly white sugars and flours are making my stomach upset. but whole wheats do too..along with milk products, corns, potatoes and any kind of meat that has the slightest bit of grease. what does this leave to eat? salads (and i cant eat them dry..but olive oils give me upset stomach, so does balsamic vinegar (or any vinegar for that matter), and dressings do also. also leaves ham or chicken (but chicken upsets my stomach lately too, made me throw up). seriously thats about all i can handle to eat...all other veggies make me sick.i spent last night up throwing up with diarrhea from either eating a poptart, or it could have been the hamburger with a bun. of course my favorite foods...make me sick. and no..im not pg.
3)ive been feeling blah and tired lately. im not sure if this is because i have been waking up early with dh to make him bfast or what.

would anyone have a clue what is going on with me? i am using progesterone. the first few months on it my periods were normal, but after 6 cycles on it, it no longer works. i would like to eat more than eggs, ham and dry salad everyday. i dont mind not being able to eat the bad carbs, though i still want my occasional pizza or such. i have tried cleansing with no luck. i also have a hard time loosing weight..i tend to gain weight when i start doing anything (atkins..gain weight, weight watchers..gain weight, american diabetic diet..gain weight). i do take some coconut creme concentrate but even that makes my stomach upset. i try working out, but am too tired sometimes to even do it. i do take thyroid meds, and just had it tested a few months ago and thats completely normal.

no i cant eat yogurt..it bothers my stomach also. basically the only things that dont bother my stomach are lettuce, eggs and ham..everything else i can count on giving me an upset stomach. some bother it more than others...like chicken gives me an upset stomach, but hamburger makes me throw up. oatmeal gives me an upset stomach but broccoli makes me throw up. my dr is stumped..she has no idea, thought it was some acid reflux or something and give me a prescription. that worked for the first few days, then completely stopped.

Okay...this sounds A LOT like gall stones...My husband and I have had great results with cleanses if you are interested...but I'll have to get back to ya, cuz the baby is having a very fussy moment...

I did post our clease recently over in the health section of the shed, so you might do a search there, if I don't get back soon enough.

If I'm right, it's not going to get better UNTIL you either flush or get it surgically removed...but before you do that really look into the complications.

It does not hurt and I have had clients that walked into my office unable to eat anything without having gastric distress and call me the next day after cleansing saying that they can eat whatever they want.

how safe is this for my diabetes? because fruit and fruit juices cause huge spikes in my sugars. also what about my kidneys? i have kidney disease and grapefruit agravates it.

oh and i cant do the lemonade cleanse. i tried that for a day and ran 500+ sugars.

Actually fasting is important BUT...if you can't, as I couldn't the second time around...you still can do the lemon juice/olive oil (I imagine you could just do olive oil but #1 BLECH and #2 the lemon juice is supposed to help soften them a tad)...just go light on your food from about noon on. You aren't going to see them, but your body will still flush them. Actually the second cleanse that I did, I even had dinner...it still worked and I felt SO much better within hours...I just couldn't "SEE" the stones. Just a note...even after the cleanse you will want to go easy on diet for a couple of days as everything heals...camomile/ginger tea is really helpful. Oh and during the cleanse...if you use lemon juice/olive oil...put them in a container with a lid and shake them hard...then slug it down...this makes it the consistancy of water and you don't get the nasty oily feeling.

The two issues that I see is that you may have to do it a couple of different times to get the same results and the thing that an apple juice fast does is gives the digestive tract a chance to heal a touch so that you aren't trying to cleanse with a swollen gall bladder. At the very least go at it with a couple of days of a diet that least causes attack...if possible.

However, even if I couldn't go lite on food or have lemon juice...I'd try. Since I did my first cleanse in October, I've known 5 different people IRW who have had the surgery and not one of them has anything like normal digestion...they still have pain, they still have stomache upset, and at least 2 of them now have incredible diarrhea...I don't know the other 3 well enough for them to share. That is 100% of the people that I know that have problems...I know 3 other people IRW beside my dh and I (we make 5) that have cleansed...various stories...some funny some gross...but no problems...so 100% success...Being that there are risks both ways I like those odds.

hmm interesting. now i had my gallbladder checked a couple yrs ago when this all started. yes its been like this for yrs. it was clear then. dh did remind me that if i went back to absolutely no grains or sugars and then took the meds i was given..my upset stomach went away that way... so he is requesting that i do that again. he is not comfortable with the cleanse due to the fact that my tubes are small and mis-shapen, he is afraid that if i do have some and that if i do get them moving..they will cause a blockage. plus i dont have any time whatsoever to just lay around and not do anything! so ill do some more research.

By the way, and I'm not suggesting you go against your dr, but there are very few drs that are comfortable with the cleanses regardless of anatomy...I'd at least get a second opinion on at least the misshapen ducts.

I've heard a lot of strange stories when cleansing was brought up...some of them turned out to be complete scare tactics.

ive had several u/s due to problems with kidneys and bladder, all my tubes are misshappened, they dont go the right ways.
