ive been having a hard problem losing weight, plus my stomach upset all the time. so yday i ate egg whites for bfast with a little bit of cheese and ham, snack was a yogurt witha piece of ham, lunch was a salad with olive oil/balsamic vinegar with some chicken and pineapple (on the side), afternoon snack was half a slice of ham and a small piece of cheese, dinner was a huge salad with some pork on it. guess what? no stomach ache. so we have it pinpointed that the upset stomach is from any and all grains....because even whole wheat stuff i tend to carry a stomachache with. now this morning i did have some oatmeal, but it hasnt bothered me yet. slight more cravings than usual..so its going to be a once a week meal.
oh and get this..this weekend i did overdo it on the carbs..had them with every meal. i also gained 9lbs!! ouch. so i stepped on the scales and it was at 162..ive been 153 which is where i totally stall at...getting past that tends to be near impossible, getting past 150..even harder. last time i was at 144 was a few yrs ago when i did atkins, i lost 20lbs almost immediately (i had gained that on weight watchers..so i was 173 when i started). then it took me 5 months after that to go from 153 to 144. so anyways...this morning i weighed myself and the scales said 148.5!!! i hopped off, reset it, and it said the same thing..woohoo! not only did i lose what i had gained over hte weekend, but i also broke past my 2 spots that i find impossible. i cant tell you how overjoyed i am. im sticking to it too. my stomach ache just isnt worth the grains. dh and i think its a food allergy. and as it builds up in my system i just feel worse and worse.
