Sleeping.
It appears that about this time of year, I begin having chronic sleep issues.
It's 5:00am, and I have been awake since 2:45am.
For the past 2-3 weeks, I have not been sleeping thru the night. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I cannot get back to sleep FOR HOURS!!!
This is no good.
Do you ladies have any recommendations?

Have you tried Valerian Root tea? It stinks but doesn't taste bad. It works for me and it creates restful sleep.

If that is not available, my Mother (and Father) would say dolomite. They take it with vit. C powder mixed with a little milk or water. It will fizz when mixed. Other sources of calcium and magnesium would be good, too. A teaspoon of honey in warm milk is meant to help. Chammomile tea, leamon balm tea, peppermint tea are all also for nerves/sleeplessness, though I get the impression they are more gentle/not as strong as valerian. (these three can be used for children)

I tried some "tension tamer' tea.
It has: Eleuthero, peppermint, cinnamon, ginger, chamomile, lemon grass, licorice, catnip, tilia flowers, natural lemon flavor, hops, and vitamin B6 +12.
That was 2 nights ago, and I slept thru the night (that could have been PURE coinsidence). I only woke up once last night (4:17am) but BEGGED God to let me go back to sleep, and He said "ok"!!
Is this tea ok? Or is it too many ingredients?
