Cholesterol: 188 Triglyceride: 52 HDL: 85 LDL-calculated: 92
Non HDL Cholesterol: 102.89 CHOL/HDL: 2.2 (Normal range is 2.5 to 5.0) VLDL: 10 TG/HDL: .61
CBC WBC: 4.3 (normal range 4.8 to 10.8) RBC: 4.17 (normal range 4.20 to 5.40)
Neutrophils: 1.9 (normal range 2.2 to 4.8)
Now these 3 blood count are lower than normal. However the office sent me a card saying all CBC levels are ok. All are normal.
WHY??? Are they saying this??? I have an appt with my dr to discuss this next Monday (Jan 23).
My ring fingers are turning black. I am tired all the time (almost needing 12 hours asleep) but yet I am working at nights however this started two months ago and it is getting worse. I started working 6 months ago. Why is my RBC and WBC lower than normal? What does this mean?
Get this!! My cholesterol count is higher now from 3 years ago. It was 183! WHY!!!! I have gotten rid of trans fat in my diet and eating more saturated fats (animal sources). Trying to do NT diet but not all of it (only coconut oil and whole milk for now and more beef however the beef is lean not fatty). Why is my cholesterol on the rise?
Thanks!!
HOlly

You are on the low end of normal. They would consider you close enough to normal to be normal. I would consider that you need to start taking an immune booster with Maitake mushroom in it.
Are you having BM's daily? That's a huge cholesterol increaser if you're not.

Sounds like you need more fiber to help "get everything out" ;D
There is an immune booster with Maitake mushroom from Nature's Sunshine that I like. I have a client that battled breast cancer and had problems getting her white count back up. I started her on that and her Dr could not believe how fast her count came up. She kept asking "what did you take again" "who did you go see?"

Ok I just got my thyroid test results:
TSH: 2.825 Protime is normal. They wrote on the card all labs are normal.
So now what?
I am still bruising on my legs and I am still very tired. I haven't been able to get pregnant since my tubal pregnancy. I have lot of the symptoms of over active thyroid. (brittle nails, gray hair that will not take the coloring, running on empty feeling, infertility, very very thin and very active metabollism. I do not have all the symptoms but have most of it.
So can you help me figure this out?
Also where do I get the Maitake Mushroom and what do I do with it? All this is new to me.
Thanks
Holly

Hey Holly, I'm running out the door to take a class all weekend, but I'll come back and reply to this when I get back on Monday or if I have time in the evenings this weekend, I'll give you some pointers.
Blessings, Tina

Did they do a free T3? If all that they did is a TSH, it's not enough info to tell if your thyroid is functioning properly or not. It looks like the Dr is trying to placate you.....
The Maitake mushroom can be found in Natures Sunshine immune booster. Quite a few health food stores carry that brand or you can order it online.
