I have ordered the book Nourishing Traditions. That's my start!! HA HA. Seriously.....for those of you who switched to 'whole foods / real foods' is there a book out there or advice you could throw my way that shows me how YOU changed the way you fed your family??
Thanks laura

Hi Laura, There's a lot of talk on here about the NT book that you just ordered. I think you'll find it interesting. Dr Mercola's web site is interesting. Have you read Sue Beckers articles on www.breadbeckers.com

I signed up for the Breadbeckers email list, and asked if they had a catalog to send me.
I was looking in my Urban Homemaker and found this:
Getting Started 1) Seek Spiritual roots to disease and disorders. 2) Use Freshly milled whole grain flours 3)Drink and cook with pure water 4) Eliminate refined sugars from your diet 5)Incorporate whole grain pasta and brown rice 6) Increase fresh fruit and veggie consumption 7) Eliminate hydrongenated fats 8) Elimanate preservatives 9) Learn to prepare family meals from basic whole food ingredients 10) Use fresh fruit juices for drinks
Do you know of any other sites that have this kind of "how to get started" list? What do you think of *this* list? Laura
