Hello everyone. I have been seeing these silicone pans everywhere. I am just VERY cautious (and nervous) about baking in them. Wouldn't there be a gas or something that escapes and gets into the food? Anyone have any more info on these or insight?

The only insight I have is that I really like them! ;DBreadbeckers sells them. I'll have to talk to Sue about them when we do the conference. I'll tell you what I find out. Have you done a search online titled "danger of silicone pans"? I'll try.

great.. thank you! I must admit that I have always been intrigued by them and how easy they seem to be when it comes to clean up and removing the food. I am going to give them a try. Any brands you particularly like or would recommend?

I have a couple of muffin pans and bread pans. I even have a bundt pan. Do you want to try some before you buy them?
