Ok, went to the doc today about my hip. About 2 months ago, it started hurting to sit "Indian style" or to move my leg side to side. The pain is deep in the ball and socket.
He x-rayed and said 'no bone damage'. Then he moved my leg (while I was sitting) from side to side. He had to peel me off the roof.
He told me to take Aleve for 30 days, 4 tabs, 2x a day. I don't want to take this. There are too may problems with anti-inflammatory drugs.
Is there anything natural out there??
Thanks Laura

Laura, I like a product called Skeletal Support... You could also try good old Glucosamine Chondroitin

Hi, Laura. I had a similar situation about 2 years ago. I had many tests done and they ended up finding that I had Greater Trochanter bursitis. It was quite painful deep in the hip and socket, and sometimes when I'd spend a lot of time on my feet, the pain would throb and shoot down the leg. It was scary - I thought it was cancer or something similar. Jumped to conclusions!! I was told there is nothing they can do. The good news is that it probably was triggered by something and for me anyways, it went away in about 6 mos. It does flare up now and again, but has never been as bad again. My sister has the very same thing but in BOTH hips. Audrey
