My husband has had so much trouble with his teeth and now he is being told, yet again, that he needs a root canal. He has an infection, his face is swollen, and it hurts. He went to the dentist today and got a script for an antibiotic and a scheduled return visit on August 1 for the root canal.
Is there anything we can do naturally instead of the root canal? Would colloidal silver help?
Thanks for any suggestions!
Paula

Hey Paula, I don't think there is an alternative to root canals.

Thanks, Tina. I guess we'll be going ahead with it then! Paula

I think colloidal silver would be good -for dealing with infection and prevention of anything further. We also use vit. C (or ascorbic acid powder is how we get it -most tablets don't have very much in them), for any and all types of infection, including teeth.
Cloves, is the herb for sore teeth -I use ground cloves on the area, but there are variations of that, like using the oil -it relieves pain, and would think also helps the problem.
Teeth have been a bit of a problem in my family, too - dealing with past ill-health, in my opinion. We have proved that infections can be treated and heal, with the above -it might take a longer time, and it does hurt. We also have started taking coral as a calcium supplement and I think that has helped alot to strengthen teeth. (Preferably along with staying off refined/processed foods, esp. sugars and pastuerized milk). That's not root canals, but aren't they basically the same, different place?
