raw foods and tooth problems

Have you heard of tooth problems among those doing raw foods?

Have been information gathering and one of the books I have been reading mentions this in a way that makes it seem normal.

However, of all I have read this is the first mention. Needless to say am a bit confused.

Wondering if this is some chaff I just need to blow away and keep the rest.

I have not heard of this and I do quite a bit of reading. I have heard of teeth repairing themself with oil pulling while on raw though...
