I need to loose another 10lbs to be at the weight that I was when I got married. I was 128 and am now 138. I was 142, so I have already lost 4 lbs just eating lots of fruits and veggies. I don't exercise. I don't belive in it ;D. I am really too busy. Just ask Marcia. I haven't stopped lately. I don't have a lot of good pictures that show the whole body , but let me see what I can find.

I want to lose about 10 pounds. I would love to lose more, but I know myself too well. ;D I had gotten down to around 138 during my "dark days of the soul" (ie, depression) about a year ago, but since I've climbed out of that - back into His GLORIOUS light! - I've put the pounds back on! That's just not right! I was up to about 160 a couple of weeks ago, but it was during my cycle and a lot of it was water retention. I'm at about 155 today and not happy at all about it! If I can get down to around 145, I'll settle there. I'd really rather be back down around 138 (I looked SO good), but I'm almost 45 and time is catching up with me. I'm 5'8" so 145 is not a bad weight for me. It's a comfortable size 8/10 and I'm happy with that. I'm going to try and eat more fruits/veggies, take my vinegar three times a day and take walks when possible. Cutting down on the sugar will be my hardest hurdle.

roflol Yes! Tina is so busy, that it makes ME tired thinking about it, haha. but it is also motivating for me.. well, weight-wise, I am down 10# from my hightest.. which was in about the middle of last July. Then by the middle of Dec, I had lost 20#! but then I went to Disney World with my extended family for a week, and also over ate over the holidays, went to DW again in March and bleh, lol. (what is it about good tasting food and not having to fix it OR clean up? lol) So now, I am working my way back down again...and hopefully this time, it will not go back up like this again. How much do I want to lose? bunches! I'd love to lose 50 more pounds... but 40 will do for a start. haha!

I just have to say that if I make to 155 or 160, I will be thrilled!!! I am about 40 pounds overweight right now. I was at my highest during pregnancy which doesn't count, right?! I am about 196 right now. My goal is yo start cutting out all refined sugars and white flours. Also I am trying to add more fresh fruits and veggies to my diet.

I am trying to lose weight too. I followed a low-carb diet last year and I lost 30 lbs. in 6 months. I kept it off until Christmas. I gained 20 lbs. over Christmas and New Years. I haven't been able to take it off. So, I'm now just trying to eat healthier....no white sugar or white flower. I also need to get back into exercising. I haven't been able to go to the gym in for a couple of months. Our weather has been horrible, so I can't walk or jog much. And we have been remodelling, so that leaves out indoor exercise. We got our living room done over the weekend. Hopefully, I'll get the motivation to go back to doing a video in the mornings.

I still have about 15 pounds of baby weight to lose and my son is 8 months old already. It took about 10 to 12 months after my daughter was born to lose the weight so I'm not too worried about it yet. I'm not really doing anything special to try to lose the weight. I walk in the mornings sometimes if we're up and ready early enough and I eat well. I'm breastfeeding so I can't really diet. I do have to discipline myself to stay away from sugar, even natural sugars I get carried away with. Honestly, I just waiting for it to magically melt away . It would be nice to fit in my old clothes again. Some do fit, but I've got a big belly pooch that I've never had before. I'll be gone soon hopefully.

Well...I'm not trying to lose weight cuz I'm pregnant, but assuming that I lose all my baby weight and am immediatly my pre-pregnancy weight...I'll still have about 20 to lose. At the top of my last pregnancy I was 217 After that I lost like 38 lbs but gained a tad and settled at about 195. Gave up sugared coca cola dropped 10 lbs was 185 Started Low Carb in March 2004, by October when I found out I was pregnant was 148... This is me about a year before I got pregnant with Becky...I think I was in the 185 range And this is me October 2004...at 148-150 This is just my new face...I seem to be able to carry about 20 lbs in just my cheeks. Thankfully, so far this pregnancy only my double chin came back...I still can see my cheeks. Anyway...I'll be joining you all sometime in July...gotta make sure my milk gets a good start dontcha know.

Well, I've been SLOWLY losing my baby weight (she's 18 months now!!) and I've hit the plateau for losing my last 10. I'm in a comfortable size 10 now, but would like to get back to a comfortable size 8. I have been doing it the "old fashioned way" with nutrition and exersise... I walk 4-6 miles about 4 or 5 times a week, and I walk fast - it's not a stroll by any means! I am also just being concious about making permanant nutrition changes: cutting down meats, eating fruit and vegetables, eating whole grains (my rule of thumb is that half my plate should be vegetables and fruits, another 4th whole grains or legumes and a small portion of "protein") I often will go through the day vegetarian.
I am at a plateau though. I don't know how I can eat much better... Typical breakfast is: 100% whole grain muffin and fruit-juice only sweetened yogurt; lunch: homeade hummus, cucumber and fresh tomato on toasted whole wheat pita (real pita from the mediterranean store!); dinner: some sort of grilled lean meat (4 oz or so), mixed green salad with homeade vinegrette, some sort of steamed vegetable and a cut up melon.
I don't overeat, and I don't snack - unless it's a piece of fresh fruit. I also don't starve myself.... so I'm stuck. I don't know if I just need to be patient through this plateau.... or if there is something else I can do. I don't want to "diet" - because that means that unless I keep up the diet, I won't keep the weight off. It needs to be a permanant change that my body will live with and maintain on.
That's why my loss has been SO SLOW (only 7 lbs since January!), but I'm hoping it will be more permanant. Any ideas to get through this plateau?
