and am finally seeing some progress. though i havent stepped on the scales, im going by how flat my stomach looks lol. i realized the other day that i only had 23 days til i went up to michigan to see my family. they see me once a yr..last yr i had hit my highest and biggest when not pg..not a fact that i am proud of. i was on weight watchers at the time and was just ballooning up. well since then i got smart, this time last yr i was wearing a 14/16...i am now in a 7/8. ;D but i still have my pouch that is bothering me..im sure i see it more than anyone as im looking down. my hips are also big and lumpy and bumpy. anyways..i want to see what i can lose before i go up to see my family. so the last 3 days i have gone with no white stuff (i blew that the beginning of the week when i was visiting my sister, traveling really throws me off...i need to figure out how to do that better!), and i have worked out everyday...in the morning i do an aerobics or a firming video..i have done taebo wed and this morning, yday i did whats called chicometrics (its an hr long firming video..you dont sweat but ohhh does it hurt!! lol). i was doing chicometrics 2 days a week back in the fall and it was starting to work, but then my workout partners stopped coming and i stopped too...but it was working alone..so i know what i have been doing is really going to work. in the afternoon i either get outside and do some yard work or i get on the treadmill. afternoons are my worst for snacking, so if im not doing nothing..i wont snack at night i am doing at least a mile on my treadmill. im really stepping it up and trying to beat my time each night..like wed i did 1.5 miles in 32 min. i couldnt get 1 mile last night but i did 1 mile in 17 min..so tonight ill try to do it in less than 17.
needless to say my abs are really feeling it today!! my chicometrics does a lot to spot your abs and thighs..my worst spots. then my taebo video that i did today (i have like 6 of them) also works on the abs...so ouch lol. but i tell you..in looking at myself in the mirror..my stomach isnt as bulgy and i think my hips are going away!! ill be doing some workouts sat and sunday (need to wake up early for those). im struggling though because we are camping sunday night, so i wont be able to get on the treadmill or aerobics on monday morning. but perhaps my body will enjoy that break lol. i do beleive ill run up and down the hill at our lake property a few times to get my heart pumping and ill do something monday morning too.
im waiting for my pilates video to come too. dh bought it for me as i had been wanting to do them. they are supposed to be really good for you too. so ill probably mix it in with my taebo and keep up with my firming lol. something has to work, right? im worried though, im an all or nothing person. hopefully missing sunday night and monday morning wont throw me off. thats usually what happens, i miss a day and get thrown off. so im realy going to work on that not happening! and who knows..im saving up some money for our trip to michigan...i just may be buying me a whole bunch of size 5/6!! wouldnt that be nice?
