I've been cutting back this week on my calories and eating healthier. I know that I've got to get some sort of exercise routine in my life. The issue is finding the time for it. I am extremely busy and often don't have a free minute until after 8:00 each night. I enjoy walking and I live in a nice neighborhood...but it isn't gated and we're not in Mayberry. I feel comfortable walking during the daylight, but not in the early morning or evenings. Next meandering...I think I would enjoy pilates/yoga but really feel I'd need a good instructer to learn how to do them. DH and I have tossed the idea of purchasing equipment for the house, but we literally don't have an inch of extra space anywhere. It's not feesible to do bring another large piece into the house.
I have several very fit and tone friends who belong to a nice gym. Two of them are trainers there. I got so out of shape while I was on the couch last year with Addie in my tummy...that what little muscle I did have has turned to flab. I'm packing on serious pounds, at least 10 since April.
I know that I'm not self disciplined enough to hit the gym at 5:00 a.m., but I could do it after the kids have gone to bed at night. The only thing I'd be interrupting in my life is internet time. We have one tv and dh watches his evening shows...so videos aren't all that practical either.
Oh, what to do, what to do?
Does anyone on here belong to a fitness center? Do you use it?
If you don't, what is your choice exercise?
Thanks!

Dh and I both joined and we've been working out everyday. I love it, I think I'm hooked! Dulcie, I work more then full time...the only *free time* I have is after 7:00 4 nights a week and then after 9:00 the other nights.
