My youngest (the one with the peely foot) had her ears pierced on Saturday (march 24). THEY ARE INFECTED!!!!
Is there anything I can do, short of taking them out and letting them grow back, to get the infection out? I have been cleaning them several times a day with hydrogen peroxide and a q-tip, and having her spin them constantly. I have a bad feeling when she wakes up this morning, it is going to HURT when she spins them. Any advice is appreciated!! Laura

Are you applying any ointment to them at all ?What are you cleaning them with? She may want to apply a warm washcloth this morning before trying to spin them.

We are cleaning them with Hydrogen Peroxide. We are spinning them all day long!! Her right ear is in worse shape. The ear lope is puffy, and 'slightly' red. Pink I would say.....but it does hurt.

How about using the coconut oil as a form of salve to keep them from getting crusty?
