Dear Tina and friends,
I finally got the grain mill I ended up with the Nutriamill I hope it is a good one the Breadbeckers seemed to think it would be.
Ok so now I'm ready to begin I ordered wheat with my mill I got white and red. Now do I go through and wash this? Where do I begin. Gosh Tina could I fly down for a couple quick lessons. Wouldn't that be great.... Anyway any help you could give me would be appreciated. I also got dough enhancer, topela honey , sea salt. Now if you could get me baking I would appreciate it. Also can I use the bread machine or is hand baking better?

Hi Judy! DON'T wash the grain. It is triple cleaned already and wet grain will ruin your mill. I think you will like the Nutrimill. Did you get the free cookbook with it? You should have. If not, call and they will send it to you. It has wonderful recipes and tips on baking bread. Okay, so you have a bread machine. Do you also have a mixer? I can help you get started. Let me know what appliances you have. T

Ok I guess washing the grain is not the first step, I don't know why but I thought someone said you have to wash the grain..... Opps.
Anyway I have a bread machine, and a kitchen aid mixer.... What else do I need?

You can try the bread machine by using the zojirushi bread recipe in the red cookbook that they should have sent you. Sometimes the bread machines do not do well with the whole grain, but you can give it a try. If that does not work, I think we should use the kitchen aid. I have free long distance, so I can give you a personal training session over the phone one day! I can walk you through it step by step and you will be fine. Do you know if your kitchen aid is the high end one or if it's one of the cheaper ones? I only ask because you want a heavy duty mixer for this bread. I'll watch for your reply.
Woo hoo! You got your grain!

Hi Tina,
My Kitchen Aid is one of the cheaper ones. Yes I did get the red cook book with my order too. Thanks for the advice I will let you know when I'm ready to do this.
Have a great day, Judy
