I know this has been discussed here before, but I can't find a thread about it.
What is the reason you DON'T put gluten in your breads?
A friend gave me a bread recipe but it calls for vital gluten. Can I just leave that part out? It's actually very similar to my bread recipe - just pretty basic ingredients - except hers uses honey instead of sugar so I wanted to try it, but I don't want to use the gluten.
I may actually just try MY bread recipe and fiddle around with how to alter ingredients to replace the sugar with honey.
But, anyway, could someone remind me why *you* don't use gluten?
Thank you!
