So, I am switching over! What do I want to order to make raw crackers, flatbread, live cereals, etc.?
Buckwheat? Oat groats?
Help!

I never heard of live cereal? How do you make it? Also how long do you sprout grains (wheat) for a raw salad like Tabouli?

For raw crackers, you definitely need flax seed. I add other things to it to change the flavors , but flax it the base.
I use buckwheat for my raw granola but I have seen oat groats mentioned. I have not used them yet . I have a 6 gallon bucket of them if you'd like to share some.

Hi Nancy, you need a dehydrator to make sprouted granola or any live storable cereal. The time to sprout depends on the grain. For instance quinoa is sprouted overnight while buckwheat is ready at the end of the second day. I'll see if I can find a sprouting chart for you. They really only need little tails to be ready.

I have both and will share. The buckwheat will be in tomorrow with United delivery. We need to settle up on the pine nuts too.
