I went to the website and it really fit my son. He is currently going to an endocrinologist for his Impaired Glucose intolerance. Right now they are thinking he is hyperglycemia but not really sure.
A mom of a diabetic dd told me to look into Diabetic Insipids because of my son's output is alot and his thirst is alot. He has the symptom of clear urine and very very light yellow urine. OUr urine is supposed to be yellow not clear of light color where it is almost hard to tell.
The protocol listed is meds and low sodium diet. I am wondering if you know about it and what do you know about the protocol for diet. Our family dr is going to send us to a nutritionist since the NP of the endo. refuse to send us to one. OUr family dr beleives there is a connection with food and these accidents and excessive output. He is a real sweetie and goes to my church. So he knows that I do my research. He did offer to medicate him for his accidents at night. I told him via my research that is a bad idea and I told him why. He agreed!! He just has to offer that upfront because of him being a dr. He told me he agreed that the diet would be the best way to go. Yes it is harder but so much nicer on the body.
So here is the link to the website....http://www.diabetesinsipidus.org/
THanks
