We are going to have so much fun here!
I can spend my whole mommy night out break (a whole two hours) in the natural beauty and toiletries isle at the Health Food Store. LOL It all fascinates me. LOL
This is not exactly the most heatlhy thing in the world...but I did want to mention that I use that Aloe Vera Gel from Walmart....(it says it's 100 percent aloe vera but it's not..there's other weird stuff in it)....in my hair as a gel. And it works awesome. I have really curly hair and it works as a de-frizzer and gel really well.
I would love to find something even more natural but haven't stumbled upon it just yet.

Daisey, I have really curly hair too! I wonder if it would work for me?? Right now I use Tigi Bead Head and I love it. I've used it for years ,but it is outrageously priced. I have a great deep conditioner recipe for curly hair that you will love! Let me go get it and I'll post it. It makes your curls stick together nicely instead of spreading out and looking like frizz. Wow. Yay for curly hair!! ;D This is me 5 years ago. We can start a curly hair club. Your hair may be even a bit more curly than mine. It was hard to see in those pics...but I think I detected in more curl. That jsut means you are Zanier than I am LOL....Ha! Can't wait to hear about the deep conditioner. My mom has tried to get me to just use ACV...but...ummmm..I just haven't been quite that much of an explorer with it. My hair is longer and the curl is looser now. to post your pic , go to the image button which is the 4th one in from the left on the bottom row right above the box you post in. Backspace out the letters URL and paste your pic properties in between the two IMG's. I hope this helps

Thanks!! Whew I thought, man, posting pics is SUCH a challenge. LOL I'm just computer challenged...LOL
Your's IS curlier!!That's what I thought. I bet yours is the kind that is SOOOOOOOO pretty in a french braid. And I bet with it being a tighter curl..it's easier to work with...in that it doesn't fall out of form quite as easy. Mine is wierd. It's flimsy, and slips easily, and has a whole level underneath the top outside layer that is straight as a board. Very strange hair!! Ha!
I've seen pictures of those victorian french braids with super curly hair like yours and I find it to be so Gorgeous.

So, does the curly hair run in your family?
My little 11 year old sister has hair that's as straight as a board. I too had hair straight as a board until I was thirteen....then my mom took me to a friend who gave me my first perm....and outrageously enough...It has never been straight again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so, I think my hair is just....a funny funny funny thing..... ;D

I am the only one in my family that has curly hair. That's a whole 'nother story  Also a funny , funny thing. My mom used to brush it when I was little :oI looked like a baby chicken! Not a good thing! |

You're both beautiful! I've always wanted just a smidge more curl in my hair, but I'll have to be content with this blanket of hair that I have. Mine is maybe half as curly as Kirstin's. Some of it is as curly, other sections are merely wavy. If it's really humid, I have BIG hair.  I think the weight of it pulls the curl out. You both have awesome hair! |
