Ok, I had a major outbreak of acne. Not your run of the mill pimples.........but huge cyst like mountains! They are big, red, they hurt, they do not come to a head, and they are gross.
Someone said Tea Tree Oil and Honey would help? If this is correct, how much Tea Tree Oil to how much honey should I mix? Does the type of honey matter?
Thank you so much! I look like I am 16! ARRRGGG !! Laura

Hi Laura, Let me start by saying that it is fine to treat the acne if you just want to treat the symptom, but there is a reason that you are getting the acne in the first place. These are toxins trying to leave your body.
If it were me I would pay attention to my bowel movements and their frequency. If you are not going more than once a day , you need to try to increase that. How many fruits and vegetables are you eating? How is your essential fatty acid intake?
Finally, don't do anything to stop these eruptions. Your body is doing it's job of getting rid of stuff that it has been storing. You may also be cleansing due to changing your diet over to better foods. Don't do anything to stop the cleanse.

I never thought of it this way!! "All systems" are good. I eat a salad a day. Otherwise I get an "F" on eating my fruits and veggies...... Any advice? I am glad my body is eliminating the toxins, but wow, is it ugly. I need to get a book or a program or a plan on how to revamp my menu, what I buy at the grocery, and what we snack on! I am trying to incorporate new healthy choices, but my 'face' is telling me not fast enough!! I have the book What the Bible Says About Healthy Living, by Dr. Rex Russell and I have a couple of news letters from the Bread Beckers and Urban Homemaker.........but that's about it. My library has nothing about eating all natural. Any recommendations would be appreciated!! Thanks Laura

Your face may actually telling you that you need some essential fatty acids. Are you taking cod liver or borage oil? What about adding some flax. I'll have to think of some good books for you.
