When you decided to change the way you and your families ate:
What was the FIRST thing new you introduced into the menu?
How was it received?
Thanks Laura

Laura, I'm taking it slowly. I'm introducing more fruits and veggies and making as much as possible from scratch to cut down on preservatives, msg and high fructose corn syrup. Also cutting out the soft drinks and cutting down on the fast food. I buy fresh milk from a friend with a cow and make butter from that, too. I buy free-range eggs and I recently bought several quarts of honey from a local beekeeper and am going to see how well I can cut down the white sugar. It is not that much, but our diet around here has not been good at all, so this is what I'm doing so far.
