Hi! I am sslloowwllyy making the change to all natural, organic food. It is making a huge difference with my boys, who have autism. I can actually see their reactions when they get ahold of the junk. Here is my situation... we are always on the go and I am a single mom. Can anyone recommend any tips or pointers to help me in this transition time? There are times when it is sooo much easier to just run and pick something up.

My best friend's son is autistic and I've watched her tweak his diet and learn to convert everything thing in his diet......for years now. He is the second oldest of 5 children so it's hard to make his diet immpecable .....but over all they keep all thier diets clean for him...and then when they have to compromise...she's learned that making him take enzymes in a pill form....will keep him from his reactions.
He's learned so well, that he cannot have certain foods without first taking the enzymes that he (8 years old now) reaches for the enzymes himself and knows to take them automatically.
My friend will hopefully be joining the board soon, and will maybe be brave enough to post some on her experiences. She's known about the Acid/Alkaline thing a little londer than I have and has been trying with a little more gusto to be a very healthy family. So, she should have some really good recipes and tips for you...and the others (who stay away from gluten and caissen).
