What is the best kind of coconut oil to buy? I've read here about virgin and expellar pressed (I think that's the way you say it) and am wondering what the difference is and which one I should use? Are they both good, but for different things?
Also, when should you use olive oil and when should you use coconut oil? Is one better for baking and one better for main meal cooking, etc? Which is better for bread?
Thank you! I'm trying ever so hard to continue getting better in my cooking!

Hi Paula, I like the virgin just because it hasn't been messed around with. It does have somewhat of a coconut flavor, but not so strong. I use it in my bread, muffins, everything! I do not like fried chicken in it!
If you don't like the coconut flavor, expeller pressed is steam deodorized and is a good choice.
