Tina, I know we discussed this some over on the shed, but I needed a bit of clarification on one thing. In your opinion, if I feed my children 100% organic fruits and veggies, then they should be ok with out supplements. Is this correct? We do lots of super foods in our home as well, but I am currently giving multi vitamins and am only doing about 50% organic because of cost. So would I be doing better to be sinking that $ into 100% organic?

If your children will eat the fruits and veggies well, I would suggest you invest your money in those. The benefits of doing this builds an enzyme storehouse up in their bodies for when they are older and may stray from eating so healthy for a while. It also helps with the alkaline balance.
If you do supplement , I would check into whether they are alkaline or not. Supplementing with something that leaves an acid ash only adds to the problem.
I believe that supplements are for healing crisis and not necessary in children that are eating properly.

So would super foods like Chlorella and Spirulina or things like Brewer's Yeast and Chlorophyl..be considered acid ash leaving supplements? Or are they still considered foods we are eating along with our other healthy foods during the day?
I don't give my kids processed vitamens to chomp on or swallow (well except for chewable vitamen C I confess because it's like a treat to them)....
We are doing the blender veggies, blender fruits, fruit snacks, no sugar...(only mommy indulges in the brownies in a dark closet by herself. LOL ;D)..and are trying to mainly stick to a close form of Healthy dinner...even if it means just Rice and beans (to stay away from frozen or pre-prepared foods).
But along with this I've been feleing good to know that I got the super foods into them. What do you think? Is it over kill? , Helpful?, Not so helpful?
We have not been able to get away from "some" meat, and I'm not making all my breads from home yet.

All four of the things you listed at the top are alkaline which is awesome. If it's green, it's good ;D It sounds like you're on the right track.
