Looking into the nutrimill grain mill. I have heard that it is coming out with a hand crank. Is that an added on accessory or do you have to buy it all together? Has it come out yet?
also, during research, I've seen people quote that it is $199 as of a year ago, but now it retails for about $250. Is that right? It went up in price $50 that fast?
Is there any place that I can be looking for a sale or anything. I really want one, but we are on a tight budget, so I want to make sure I am getting the best deal.
Anything else I should know before I purchase? Is this the best middle of the road mill for a family of 5 (but Lord willing still growing!)
Thanks!

Tara, I have a Nutrimill that I absolutely ADORE!!! I have milled everything from popcorn to wheat and everything in between and it is fabulous! I use it every day and have had it almost a year now. My mom affectionately calls it my motorboat because that is what it sounds like when I grind up popcorn for grits. Mine was $199 when I got it... you may want to check with Tina about Breadbecker's price... I know there *was* a discount for our co-op... Tina has that changed that you know of??? I can't recommend it enough! And a head's up, if you put the "catch" container in the dishwasher like I did.. just run some coconut oil around the rim to slide the top back on! HTH!! Cherise

Hi. I like the Whispermill best but I may just be used to using it. $239 is the cheapest I have seen it lately. You could try ebay. We don't get a discount anymore.

Where did you see it for $239?
Do you have any info about the hand crank?
Thanks!

I think Breadbeckers has it for that, but I could be wrong. I haven't checked their prices lately.
The hand crank is not available yet . I don't have any timeline information on that either.

Pleasant Hill Grains has free shipping and no tax. 249.95 The shipping and tax do add up. This may be the best buy for you. I bought a bosch universal from them last year. I had a question about how to use my machine a year later, and they answered me the same day. When I bought it, the shipping was fast.If I remember correctly, it came in 3 or 4 days.
