6-8 ears of corn ( I used 8 cups frozen) 3/4 cup sunflower seeds 1/3 to 1/2 red onion 1/3 cup ground flax seeds 1/4 tsp cumin cayenne- dash celtic salt- to taste
Mix corn, onion, sunflower seeds in food processor (can use blender) Add remaining ingredients and process well.
Spread on teflex sheets and score. Dehydrate for 10-12 hours t 105 degrees. Flip crackers and remove teflex sheet. Continue dehydrating until desired crispiness is reached.

Hi Tina,
I have a few clarifying questions as I definitely want to make thees crackers. Where did you find this recipe? Did you soak the sunflower seens at all? How much salt did you add?
Thanks, Ellen

Oops, forgot to ask if you turn them at 10 to 12 hours then they take about 24 hours to finish?
Also, each time I post here I have to do the security check? Is there a way to disable this?
Thanks, Ellen

Up at the top of the page is a narrow row of links. One of them says register. Follow the prompts to register. Then after you receive the activation email and finalize the registration, you will log in. You can choose to be logged in for a number of pre-set hours, or forever. As long as you don't clear your browser cookies, you will be automatically logged in each time you visit, if choosing the forever option. HTH, Marcia

Hi Ellen, the recipe is from Absolutely Abebas Krazy Krackers. I soaked the sunflower seeds overnight and I can't remember how much salt I added. I just added and tasted until it tasted right to me.
I turned them after 24 hours but it seems like it took a few days to finish but it was really rainy and our windows were open. I am making more todays and I'll make better notes.
I do not get a security message, so I'm hoping one of the moderators will see this message and see if they have any ideas.
it was WONDERFUL to see you last night. I love the potlucks ;D
