So...how does tofu or soy fit into this acid/alkaline thing. I don't particularly like either one...but I am still just curious. There is so much seeming controversy over whether it is good or bad for us. Wich is it? And does any one following the acid/alkaline diet eat it?

I don't do soy except in the lecithin for my bread. I think the controversy is just too much right now. If I'm going to err, it will always be on the side of safety. Besides, my boys go nuts with soy milk.

Daisey, Here is some info about soy from Dr. Mercola's website. www.mercola.com/article/soy/I personally would try to avoid it all costs. Just my dairy farmer wife's opinion. ;D
